San Francisco, It’s Time to Go APE!

It’s that time again! NPC kicks off fall with the SF staple, APE: The Alternative Press Expo! Come on down and check out NPC this weekend!

APE, the Alternative Press Expo, returns to San Francisco on October 1 and 2 at the Concourse Exhibition Center, located at 635 8th Street.APE presents the very best in alternative and small press comics, with an Exhibit Hall packed with cutting-edge creators. This year’s Exhibit Hall features over 400 exhibitors, including some of the biggest indy comics publishers (SLG, IDW, Fantagraphics, Drawn and Quarterly, Top Shelf, Last Gasp, BOOM! Studios, and many more), plus artists and DIY creators showcasing their comics, books, zines, original art, hand-made items, and much more.

Big Wow Comic Fest is Next Up!

South Bay Area, get ready! NPC’s world tour continues with the Big Wow Comic Fest! Originally founded in 1979 as “Super-Con” in Hayward, CA, Big Wow has changed and developed over time to be one of California’s biggest and best two day comic, art and pop culture conventions.

Saturday, stop by and get a copy of NPC’s newest title, Son-Lar! Series Creator and Writer, Jaimel Hemphill will be on hand to sign copies. On Sunday, meet the creator of Wax, Diane Huffman.

We’ve got a lot more planned, so stop by this weekend in San Jose. We’ll see you there!
