Big Wow Comic Fest is Next Up!

South Bay Area, get ready! NPC’s world tour continues with the Big Wow Comic Fest! Originally founded in 1979 as “Super-Con” in Hayward, CA, Big Wow has changed and developed over time to be one of California’s biggest and best two day comic, art and pop culture conventions.

Saturday, stop by and get a copy of NPC’s newest title, Son-Lar! Series Creator and Writer, Jaimel Hemphill will be on hand to sign copies. On Sunday, meet the creator of Wax, Diane Huffman.

We’ve got a lot more planned, so stop by this weekend in San Jose. We’ll see you there!

NPC’s Next Comic Announced!

The newest addition to NPC’s ever-expanding lineup is is ready to go! We are proud to Officially announce Diane Huffman’s latest project, Wax! Keep it locked right here for the latest info regarding the upcoming Convention Edition, as well as the full release! With Diane’s incredible writing, and astounding art by Cesar Lemus, we’re positive you’ll like this newest NPC book just as much as we do!

NPC Does the Artist Shuffle!

National Press Comics is doing the artist shuffle! Just what the heck does that mean? Well, for starters, we can now proudly announce that Angie Ambriz will now be tackling the artistic chores on Tooth in Cheek, the Alterniverse title for Wave2. What does that mean for Wax? Right now Wax will be on hiatus, but that doesn’t mean it’s going anywhere! Wax is still part of Wave1, but there will be a gap between it and Jody Parker’s EarthSons. Keep it locked right here for some exciting news concerning the title’s new artist!

New Artist at NPC

NPC would like to welcome Angie Ambriz to the fold! While continuing her education at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, Angie will also get some valuable real world experience handling the artistic duties on WAX, making it NPC’s first all-girl comic! We are very excited about this upcoming title, and you should be too! Keep your eyes on WAX in the Comics section for all the cool stuff Angie and Diane Huffman churn out!
