Many, many moons ago Lovalle discovered a small comic store in Willington De, that changed his life. At this shop he met and got advice from some of the most influential creators in comics when their careers were just beginning. Getting writing & storytelling advice from Chuck Dixon, pacing & layout (with accidental mentoring) from Flint Henry, and other aspects form a plethora of other creators that are too numerous to mention but he is extremely grateful to.
His first printed work was a pin-up for Mike Wolfers ’Dai-Kazu. He then went on to do the LANDER mini-series for Mermaid Publications. He now rejoins co-creator Shadow McKenna & National Press Comics to once again drag you into the gritty world of Joshua Lander.
